More about the release

Affordable Conceptual Art

This limited edition of 15 explores memory, media, and materiality by using both thermal and relief printing techniques. A pixelated public domain image of Tigger sitting in a meadow—thermal-printed like a fleeting receipt—is overlaid with a custom rubber stamp of the same image in a sumptuous violet archival ink. Beside it, a second stamp in archival jet black ink depicts a partially open window with the blinds down. Who says the powers that be never close the door without opening a window? Each piece is hand-signed by the artist in silver Staedtler ink using a brush pen and comes with a mirrored glass frame. The "paper tiger" series is a study in translation and persistence, subterfuge and nostalgia. Each print also features a new unreleased nü-metal/italo disco track by Devin KKenny.
